Privacy Policy

Percy is a free, plain-English check on your business energy contract, operated by Right Tail Performance Ltd ("we", "us"). We're a comparison and introduction service - we're not an energy supplier, and we don't sell your data on to anyone else.

When you use the contract check, we collect what you tell us:

• Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
• Details about your premises and current energy contract, such as roughly how much energy you use and when your contract ends.

We also collect basic information about how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve it. We don't use this to build advertising profiles.

• To run the contract check and tell you, in plain English, whether you look to be overpaying.
• To introduce you to a vetted energy specialist if switching could save you money - but only if you ask us to. You'll typically hear from one specialist, once.
• To keep the site working and improve how it explains things.

We don't sell your data. If you ask to be contacted, we pass your details to one vetted specialist so they can call you with your options. From that point, they'll handle your information under their own privacy policy, and they're required to identify themselves clearly and disclose any commission before you agree to anything.

We also rely on a small number of service providers (such as hosting and email) who process data on our behalf and don't use it for anything else.

No cold calls unless you ask for one. We only pass your details to a specialist when you ask us to, and if that ever results in more contact than you'd expect, email us and we'll stop straight away - we'll want to know about it.

We keep your details only as long as we need them - typically up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to us using it. Email hello@askpercy.co.uk and we'll sort it out.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

We only use the essential cookies needed for the site to work. No advertising trackers.
